Privacy policy

This policy explains which personal data we process when you use the platform EuroLink, why we do so and which rights you have. We process personal data in accordance with the Law of Georgia on Personal Data Protection.

2. Which data we process and why

Customer account

When you register we store your user name, first and last name, email address, phone number, delivery address and your password in encrypted (hashed) form, as well as the time you accepted the terms. We need these data to approve and run your account and to carry out your orders.

Orders

For every order we store the products, prices, your delivery details, any note you add and the order status. We use these data to carry out the ordering service and keep them for as long as tax and accounting law requires.

Passing data on to carry out your order

Because we buy the goods in your name, the supplier receives your name and, where necessary, your delivery details. The carrier and courier receive your name, delivery address and phone number so that they can deliver the parcel. We pass on only what is needed for this.

Chat

We store the messages you exchange with us in the chat in order to answer your questions and to handle your orders.

Push notifications

If you switch on notifications, your browser gives us an address and keys for sending you messages. The notifications are delivered through your browser maker’s push service (for example Google, Apple or Mozilla); their content is encrypted. You can switch the notifications off at any time; we then delete this address.

Emails

We send you emails that concern your account, for example to reset your password. We do not send advertising emails.

Server log files

When you open a page, the web server records technical data: IP address, date and time, the page requested, the browser used and the result of the request. We need these data to operate the platform and protect it against misuse. They are deleted automatically after 14 days.

Cookies

We use only cookies that the platform needs in order to work:

• sessionid keeps you logged in and remembers your cart, wishlist and currency;
• csrftoken protects forms against misuse;
• shop_language remembers the language you chose.

We use no analytics, advertising or tracking tools, and we do not pass on data for advertising purposes.

3. Recipients and processors

The platform runs on a server rented from [hosting provider and country], which processes the data on our behalf and only on our instructions. Besides the suppliers, carriers and push services named above, we pass data on only where the law obliges us to, for example to the tax authorities.

4. Transfer abroad

The suppliers are mainly located in Germany, that is in the European Union. The European Union ensures an adequate level of data protection. We transfer data to other countries only where they ensure an adequate level of protection or appropriate safeguards are in place.

5. How long we keep data

We keep your account data for as long as your account exists. Order data are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires. Chat messages are deleted together with your account unless they are needed as order documentation. Server log files are deleted after 14 days.

6. Your rights

You have the right to obtain information about your data and a copy of them, and to have them corrected, completed, blocked or deleted. You can withdraw a consent at any time and object to processing. To exercise these rights, or to have your account deleted, write to us in the chat or by email.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Service of Georgia (personaldata.ge).

7. Security

The connection to the platform is encrypted (HTTPS). Passwords are stored only in hashed form, and only our staff have access to customer data.

We adapt this policy when the platform or the law changes. The version published here applies.
